Okay ya’ll — this is seriously the easiest craft kit I’ve EVER done. All I needed was hot glue (and my super cute toddler to model these clips after I was done). And that – by the way – was exactly seven minutes after I opened up the package. That’s how easy (and quick!) these bunny clips are to make. Rather watch than read — view my step by step tutorial (at super speed, here — https://www.instagram.com/p/CcUejgwAvPC/)
Otherwise, let’s hop to it.
This is actually a craft kit from Michael’s. It’s called the Bunny and Flower Hair Accessories Craft by Creatology. And it’s only $1.99 right now!!
This is what Michael’s gives you: enough materials to make 1 white bunny, 1 brown bunny and 1 flower rubberband. I didn’t really like the flower headband tbh, so I didn’t put it on my kid, but it’s a nice bonus.

This tutorial is just for the bunny, though, and we’re just going to use that little white rabbit as an example. So, this is what his supplies look like. Yes, I’m defining his gender as a boy bunny.

The first thing you’ll have to do is fire up your hot glue gun, and get your supplies ready. They gave you two white pom poms for the white bunny, so the bigger one is for his body, and the smaller one is for his head.

You’ll place the body pom pom towards the back of your alligator (or duck bill, if that’s what you like to call it) clip. So add a small dab of glue to the back of the clip as shown in the image below.

Then, place your larger pom pom on the clip, and apply pressure for several seconds to ensure the pom pom has adhered well.

Next, you’ll do the same thing for the smaller pom pom, this time placing the hot glue towards the front of the clip. Then, apply pressure for several seconds to make that little guy’s head stays on!

After that, very carefully, add a tiny drop of hot glue to your googly eyes, one at a time of course, and stick them on your little bunny’s head. Closer together or farther spaced apart — it’s up to you. I did both styles for my bunnies, just to make them look different.

Last, you’ll assemble your ears. Michael’s made this super easy for you because they added a sticky backing to the pink felt. All you have to do is remove that backing, and stick it to the iridescent ear, and you’re ready to hot glue this bad boy on your bunny.

I added a line of hot glue to the flat part of the ear at the bottom, and quickly stuck it to my bunny, keeping room for the other ear. Again, you can switch up the placement of your ears — farther back or forward — just to make your bunnies look different.
…and 7 minutes later, what do you have??

Some super cute hair clips that you can use year round (but especially Easter week)!

I think that brown bunny is my fav.

If you’re looking for a super simple Easter / Spring / Bunny craft, this is it! Like I said, it’s only $1.99 right now AND you get some real use out of it because they’re actually hair clips!
